Easter Sunday — Cycle C

March 27, 2016

“This is the day the Lord has made; let us be glad and rejoice in it.” Response: [Ps 118]

Resurrection Joy

Lord of laughter

And joy,

Unleash in me

Giggles and

Hee- haws.

Tickle my risibilities with the good news of the gospel.

Entertain me with song and smiles and dance.

Resurrect me from tombs of sour-faces and

Juggle my pains and sorrows

On occasion with resurrection joy;

You, Lord of Laughter, can do this!

For Reflection and Sharing:

  1. When is the last time you had a good, hearty belly laugh?
  2. Why do you think we meet so many sour-faces on our faith journeys?
  3. What does resurrection mean to you now in the present?
  4. When do you feel resurrection joy!
  5. Why is it possible to have amidst pain and sorrows?
  6. Who have you encouraged and brought to resurrection joy?

Dear Renetta, I am so glad to liked your Easter present. Our day on Easter was beautiful and sunny. We have had 2 sunny days since then. Now it’s raining again. Predicted for Cleveland Indian’s opening day is for us not to be surprised if there are a few snow flakes falling on the field. O well it is early April. Love, prayers and hugs, Juliemarie
