Jesus still calls his people today. Follow in my way.

Be my precursors like John of old. Go before me and be bold like John of old.

Be aware you shall be like lambs among wolves.

Be not afraid, I am with you.

The harvest is great but missionaries few.

Follow in my way.

Carry no:

  • Wallets
  • Walking shoes
  • Cell phones
  • Nor Texting any one.

Go on my way and focus on your mission. Preach and teach about the Kingdom of God at hand.

Remember, “Behold, I have given you the power to ‘tread upon serpents’ and rid you of the Zika virus and upon the full force of the enemy and nothing will harm you.”

Be not afraid, I am with you.

Follow in my way.

Rejoice because your names are written in heaven.

Like the disciples of old, if the Lord calls you to be his disciple, you might be a bit skeptical.

Like those disciples in Jesus’ time they took the challenge and came back joy filled. Jesus kept his promises. He will reward disciples of today. He will keep his promises. Come he calls.

  1. As you reflected upon today’s gospel, what touched you most?
  2. How have you spread the Kingdom of God?
  3. Where is God calling you to harvest souls for him?
  4. On the scale of 1 to 10, where would place yourself on the scale of discipleship?
  5. What kind of volunteering do you do for your church?
